More Workbox Setup

Last night I took the time to print off and laminate charts and numbers for my workboxes. (If you missed the first post about my workbox system, you can read it here.) Here are some pictures of what I have so far.

These are the drawers I bought to use as my workboxes. They take up less space than the original shoe box and rack idea. There are only seven drawers, but the bottom ones are bigger, and I can put two assignments in each drawer.

Here is an up close of the chart that they will put their numbers on as each drawer is completed:

And these are the numbers attached to the drawers. They are attached with Velcro tape.

And here is another picture of the boxes side by side complete with charts and numbers. The bottom boxes have two numbers attached, and I plan on putting two assignments in these drawers.

  1. This looks like a nice set up. And you are right-takes up less space whilst still maintaining the idea of being able to see the work disappear. For more workbox ideas, Gabby at www.workofchildhood.com and I are hosting a workbox meme called, Thinking Outside the Box. You can find lots of great workboxing ideas from families from all over. Hope to see you there.

  2. I love the carts. I was actually thinking about going to these because I know the baggies I'm using will not hold up forever. I will have to scout around and compare prices to see what I can come up with.

Thanks for sharing your link on THL!
