Weekly Wrap Up: Almost Valentines Day

This began as one of those weeks that we just didn't seem to be accomplishing much, but we did have some quite productive days in there, so I think it all balanced out in the end.

Monday began with Charles having four teeth pulled. Ouch. Needless to say, he had a hard time getting started after that. By the time he was actually feeling a little better- after a short nap and some coffee, we had to eat lunch and leave for our science group. We've been studying elements this month, so we took a closer look at bonding and played element BINGO.  When we got back home, Charles had sufficiently recovered to complete most of his independent work.

Tuesday I had Ladies Bible Study. We had decided that the only one going with me this semester was Kathryne. She likes to help out with the younger kids. Charles doesn't really have a buddy to hang out with in the group, so he would rather stay home and get school work done before basketball in the evening.

Wednesday actually turned out to be quite productive. We were supposed to have some friends over, but they had to change plans and postpone at the last minute, so what was going to be a low school day turned out to be a catch up day for things we were behind on from earlier.

Thursday we had a normal day (as normal as it gets around here). We made time for art, one of the kids favorite things with the new art history I'm using.

Today we had our Fun Friday co-op and had a valentine exchange. All of the kids in co-op were super excited (and possibly jacked up on candy).

Looking back, it seems pretty productive. Sometimes that's how it works.
