Review of The Chronicles of Dinosauria from New Leaf Publishing

Although science was not a favorite subject when I was in school, it is a subject that has become more and more interesting to me when I study it with my children. One of the particular topics that interests me is the debate between Old Earth evolutionists and Young Earth creationists. We've enjoyed quite a few materials from Answers in Genesis, New Leaf Publishing, and Apologia that have explored scientific data in light of both views.

Chronicles of Dinosauria is a beautifully illustrated book that takes a look at the history of dinosaurs. Author Dave Woetzel- Dinosaur Dave discusses when dinosaurs came into existence and takes a look at much evidence that points to the fact that dinosaurs and man once co-existed. The book is written so that upper elementary aged children or middle school children could read it independently. But the information and research included is interesting reading even for adults. I was very interested! And I plan to read it aloud to my kids, so that we can all enjoy it together.

Richard Dobbs does an excellent job with illustration. There are some beautiful drawings of dinosaurs as well as many photographs of dig sites and artifacts that indicate the co-existence of dinosaurs and man.

Chronicles of Dinosauria is published by New Leaf Publishing, and  you can watch the book trailer here:
