Schoolhouse Expo

Today began the week long Schoolhouse Expo. I kept my computer on as much as I could listening in on several of the workshops. I was so excited to hear Heidi St. John this evening. I was able to hear her in person at the Teach Them Diligently convention in May, and she is so encouraging. Even though tonight's workshop was geared toward new homeschoolers, I was encouraged also. And it motivated me to share about my early years of homeschooling with young moms just starting.

Tomorrow, I am hoping to hear "Homeschooling Until the Tassel is Turned" at 5p and to listen to Dean Butler at 7p. He is the one who played Almanzo in The Little House on the Prairie and now produces documentaries for Legacy Documentaries. I recently reviewed one of those documentaries.

It isn't too late to join in. You can still purchase a ticket for $24 here. And don't forget that all of the sessions are recorded and archived for you to listen to later.
