Here are some of the best books I've been reading and reviewing lately over on my Leah's Good Reads blog. If you're looking for more to add to your TBR (to be read) list, check these out. My TBR list is already so long, I'd have to live to at least 100 to read them all!

Greetings from the Flipside by Rene Gutteridge and Cheryl McKay was a fun, different Christian fiction/romance. With a contemporary setting and characters that are easy to like and relate to, this one was very enjoyable. I won't be a spoiler, but there is also a very unexpected twist to this story. You'll just have to read it to find out.

A Bride for Keeps by Melissa Jagears was a wonderful find of a new to me author. This is a historical Christian fiction/romance. The characters are very interesting and compelling. The romance is very sweet. And the story line- a mail order bride heads out west- makes for a great read.

One Way Love by Tullian Tchividjian is a nonfiction read written by the grandson of Billy Graham. It's a reminder of the tremendous grace of God that is truly a one way love, loving and giving grace expecting nothing in return. It was a very moving and encouraging read.

Perhaps these will give you some good ideas for your own TBR list or for Christmas gifts for the book lovers in your life. If you have some great recent reads, I'd love for you to share those in the comments.

  3. I'm not much of a fiction reader, but the One Way Love book looks like something I will need to read! I know in my head about God's grace, but to live it is another story. Maybe one of the things I will need to do is branch out into fiction! Thanks for sharing!
