Last year I had the opportunity to read Jill Savage's book No More Perfect Moms: Learn to Love Your Real Life. I was very touched by this book. It's purpose is to encourage moms to stop the comparisons, to stop thinking everyone is perfect and that they have to be also, to stop expecting perfection from themselves, their spouses, and their kids, and to be honest about who they are in God. It was a tremendous encouragement to me because I struggle with comparison and with perfectionism.

Because I was so touched by the book, I began visiting Jill's blog and website- Hearts at Home.  I began participating in the regular third Thursday blog hop. One of last year's topics was- No More Perfect Kids. Bloggers posted their No More Perfect Kids stories, and a new book- No More Perfect Kids- written by Jill Savage and Kathy Koch was announced.

Now, some months later, No More Perfect Kids is ready for launch. It comes out on March 1st, and I've had the privilege of advanced reading as part of the No More Perfect Kids Launch Team! I'm inspired and encouraged in my parenting as I'm reading this book. And I wanted to share with readers some of the things I'm learning.

And so, throughout the month of February, beginning on Monday, the 3rd, I'm going to be posting my thoughts on each chapter as I read. I hope that this is inspiring and encouraging to you as well.

You can check out the book here on Amazon, and you can pre-order it to be released on March 1st. I would live to hear comments, thoughts, and questions as I share my thoughts, and I look forward to the sharing and discussing.

Stop by Monday for thoughts on chapter one.
