I've enjoyed linking up with 52 Books in 52 Weeks on and off for a couple of years. This is a great site that encourages readers to read a book a week and link up on the blog. I always read more than 52 books for the year, but I've noticed this past year that because many of my review books have a specific due date I'm not always able to link up each week.
So, I've decided to have my own weekly "Favorite Reads" post. This is going to be a regular weekly post (I hope). Some weeks I may post the whole review, and some weeks I may just give information about the book I've been reading for review.
If you love book reviews, you can check out my Leah's Good Reads blog for regular book reviews.
This week I've been reading one in a series of novellas. This one is by Denise Hunter- A December Bride
Denise Hunter is the author of several Christian romances that I've read. This past year I reviewed her Barefoot Summer, set in a town called Chapel Springs. These wedding novellas take place in the same town, so many of the same people are a part of each story.
A December Bride is the story of Layla and her relationship with her ex-fiance's good friend, Seth Murphy. I'll posting a full review on my Leah's Good Reads blog this week, but I can definitely say I've enjoyed this one. It's a sweet romance with interesting characters, a good story, and some occasional humor to lighten things up.
