Favorite Family Christmas Read Alouds

One of the things that my kids- and I- love best as we begin to get out Christmas things and set up decorations, is to begin taking down the Christmas books and have me read them. Even though my kids are older and can all read them on their own, there is just something special about gathering round to read a Christmas book. I try to add one book each year, but there are some old favorites that just get picked again and again. Here are a few recommendations of our family Christmas read alouds.

Olivia Helps with Christmas

The Attic Christmas

The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree

The Night Before Christmas

The Sparkle Box: A Gift with the Power to Change Christmas

A Wish to Be A Christmas Tree

God Gave Us Christmas

If He Had Not Come

Reading Christmas books aloud as a family can be a great new tradition. Does your family have any favorites to add to my list?
