Deep Blue Kids Bible: A Review and a Giveaway

Sometimes the Bible can seem a little daunting to early readers. Children may not understand the structure of the Bible or how to verses or what difficult concepts mean. This Deep Blue Kids Bible is a great tool for helping young readers develop the habit of reading the Bible and helping them to understand what it all means.

The Deep Blue Kids Bible is designed with the young reader in mind- specifically children ages 7-12. The translation used is the Common English Bible, a translation that children can read more easily. Three children serve as guides throughout the Bible, offering explanations and additional information for the reader. There are added features such as devotionals, maps, memory verses, reading plans for kids and more.

At the Deep Blue Kids Bible website, you can find more information about the Bible as well as lots of free resources for kids to grow in the their faith. You can also learn more about the Common English Bible translation and about the great features in this Bible.

There are several features in the Deep Blue Kids Bible that I particularly like.

* There is an information section at the beginning of the Bible, introducing kids to three kid helpers that will be their guides throughout reading this Bible. Each of the kids helps with different explanations and points out things that will help young readers to understand the Bible.
* There are notes throughout the text. Each note has a symbol beside it and each symbol refers to a specific kind of note. The notes point at positive traits to develop, encouragement for hard times, basics of following God, and answers to hard questions.
* There are also some great features like interesting facts and trivia about the Bible, devotionals specifically for kids, key verses marked that would be good for memorization, and encouragement for kids to read the Bible for themselves.
* At the beginning of each book is a summary that will help kids see how that book fits into the overall scheme of the Bible. And maps at the back of the Bible help kids to identify the places they'll read about it Scripture.
* There are so many helps throughout the entire Bible that kids will find it easy to use and be encouraged to read the Bible independently.
