One of my kids favorite history topics over the years has been ancient Egypt. I'm not sure why, but there's just something fascinating about pyramids and mummies and hieroglyphics. We've done several unit studies about ancient Egypt as we've come to their time in our history cycles.

Right now Educents has a pretty cool, free mini unit that will allow you to study King Tut and ancient Egypt with your children. This unit includes timeline pages, math, reading comprehension and more. It's a great supplement to your ancient history studies.
