Ashlyne, Rachel, and I have been using the My Father’s World Countries and Cultures curriculum this school year, and I’ve discovered that all of us really enjoy learning about the geography and culture of different places. Ashlyne has said several times that this is her favorite year of history. As we’ve read through the books we use for My Father’s World and as we’ve expanded to look at other books and information, I’ve come across some great resources that have helped us as we study these other countries and cultures. Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some books and websites as well as printables that you can use for a geography/cultures study.
In today’s post, I’ll begin with our neighbor to the north- Canada. The girls and I began our studies in North America, so Canada was one of the first stops on our list.
