Like many families of homeschooled or traditionally schooled students, we’re starting back to school this week. There’s always an excitement, an anticipation, as we open new books and begin a new school year. Even though we homeschool year round, doing a lighter schedule during the summer, we start our new year in August, so we experience that feeling of new and exciting- the back to school rush.

This week- August 10-14- I’m participating in the Back to Homeschool blog hop with The Schoolhouse Review Crew and Homeschool Connections. I’m very excited about sharing some of our back to school excitement. And I’m excited to read the posts of some of the other contributors. You can find their blogs below.
The theme of my Back to Homeschool blog hop is Starting Back to Homeschool: Five Ways to Prepare. I’ll link all of the posts here so that they can be found easily at the end of the hop. Here are this week’s posts:
- Preparing the Schoolroom: Tips for Organizing the Schoolroom
- Preparing the Curriculum: Five Tips for Choosing Homeschool Curriculum
- Preparing the Books: Choosing This Year’s Read Alouds
- Preparing the Supplies: Five Top Picks for Homeschool Curricula and Resources
