When Charles first became interested in Minecraft several years ago, I thought this was just going to be another video game time waster that encouraged him to sit in front of a screen all day. As I watched game play, however, and learned more about how Minecraft worked, I could see that this had the potential to be a really educational hobby. This was confirmed in our history lessons that year when Charles asked to use Minecraft for a few of his history projects. He did some really cool things like building the Great Pyramid to scale on a Minecraft world. He also some took some online classes that were Minecraft based that year.
