Black Friday Deals for Homeschool Moms...From the Comfort of Home

I have a confession to make. I used to be a die-hard Black Friday shopper. I know, I know…commercialism and all that. But, the fact is, before all the extreme craziness started and stores started staying open all Thanksgiving day, it was fun to get out early Friday morning and get some deals on Christmas presents. Now, stores fight to open earlier and earlier, and Black Friday shopping isn’t even on Friday. So, I might head out for a few deals on Friday, but I’m not planning to be a part of the craziness.

Another reason to avoid the craziness and crowd now is that so many great deals can be found online. Why fight the crowds when I can shop at home and save money? Shopping online you can find deals on toys and electronics and more. Homeschool curriculum publishers are offering some awesome deals for Black Friday as well. If you’re needing curriculum or planning ahead for next year, there are some really great Black Friday sales around.

Compass Classroom offers curricula for economics, Bible, history, vocabulary and more. I’ve had the opportunity to try several of their great products, and I’ve really liked them. His Mercy Is New

His Mercy is New is the shop of author Candace Crabtree. Candace has some beautiful devotionals that encourage readers in their walk with Christ and guide readers to praying through the Scriptures. Last year I had the privilege of reviewing Jesus: Light of the World, a devotional that guides the whole family to pray through the Scriptures during Advent. Candace’s devotionals are half off for Black Friday, and she has a brand new devotional releasing on Black Friday- 31 Days to Overcoming Fear: Battling our Fears With the Power of God’s Word. This devotional will be part of the half off sale as well.

Notebooking Pages is an awesome site full of great, printable notebooking pages you can use in your homeschooling. There are science pages, history pages, state study pages, holiday pages and more. Home School Adventure Co. offers homeschool curriculum that helps teach students from a Christian worldview. Okay, I’ll admit it…Amazon is not specifically for homeschool moms, of course, but it’s one of my favorite shop online places for Christmas gift deals. You can find all of their Black Friday deals here. And…one of the greatest deals available now through November 30 is the Kindle for Kids deal.

Details: Through November 30 get the newest Kindle (the Paperwhite version) with a kid-friendly cover and two-year warranty for $69.99. That’s half off the regular price. If you’re looking for a Kindle that your child can read without the distraction of a tablet where they can surf the web or play games, this Kindle for Kids package is a really good deal.

Those are some of the best goodies I’ve seen for Black Friday shopping. There are several of those curriculum sales that I’m hoping to visit myself! If you’re looking for some homeschool mom, Black Friday deals that you can enjoy without braving the crowds and standing in lines, check them out.
