10 Great Gifts for Kids Who Love to Build...No Legos Included

I have to admit that none of my kids were ever hugely hung up on Legos. That’s not to say they didn’t like them. But we didn’t have large numbers of overflowing bins full of the little blocks. I have had kids that enjoy building, however. We’ve used a variety of toys that involve building structures large and small.

If you have kids who love to build on your gift list, here are some gift ideas…that don’t include Legos. Some of these go beyond building to remote control features or electric motorization, and some are more classic. But all of them will be enjoyed by the little- or not so little- builders on your list.
