Medieval Times is one of those places I’ve always wanted to go. The Medieval time period is one of my favorite historical time periods, and I love stories of knights and ladies and heroes!

This past week, I had the opportunity to visit Medieval Times with my girls and friends. We had an awesome time! Here’s a look at all the great things we experienced and how you can visit Medieval Times at a discount as well.

We entered the dinner theater as if stepping inside a castle.

There’s lots to do once you’re inside while you wait for the show and dinner to begin. They recommend you come up to 75 minutes early so that you have time to get checked in and look around.
None of my girls would pose for pictures, but I did.

After we had had time to poke around the gift shop, tour the dungeon, and order drinks- alcoholic or non- we were admitted into the theater. Guests with VIP passes are allowed to enter first; then others enter based on color. We were in the green section cheering for the green knight.
The theater is beautiful, and even as you first enter it, there’s excitement.

Our waiter had time to come and explain the process and take our drink orders, and then the show began with this knight.

Dinner was delicious! It was tomato soup, garlic bread, roasted chicken, corn, herbed potato, and ice cream for dessert. They make accommodations for special dietary requirements, so I was able to substitute by bread for a veggie appetizer since I’m gluten free.

The show consisted of performances by the beautiful horses as well as competitions amongst the different colored knights. We cheered our green knight to victory!
